Knowing IMEI number of smartphone is very usefull, especially when buying new device. With IMEI number you can check your phone details, or blacklist your device when it gets stolen. Before buying secondhand smartphone you should always ask for its IMEI number.

You dont know how to find IMEI number on your phone? Below you can find several methods.

1. Using the Dial Pad
   Open dialing app and type in *#06# code.
   After you do that IMEI numbers will be displayed on your screen.
   
2. In the phone settings.
   Open Settings app and go to System -> About phone -> Status -> IMEI information
   
    
3. On the box
   You can find IMEI numbers on the irignal box of SONY smartphones.
   
    
4. On the SIM tray
   You can find IMEI number labeled on SIM tray.
    
5. Under battery cover
   If your device has removable battery cover, you can find there IMEI number.
